FRP stands for Fibreglass Re-enforced Polymer. Planter is made by placing a woven mat of very strong glass strands (fibreglass) in a mould & then wetting it with Polyester Resin. We also add stone powder to this & then extract the planter from the mould when it dries.

FRP planters offer many advantages over plastic especially for sizes more than 18".

More Durability : Our FRP planters have an aesthetic lifespan of 8-10 years outdoors, 12 years indoors. They will be still usable after these many years, but with some surface defects creeping in.

Larger Sizes : Plastic molding machines have a limitation when it comes to big sizes. FRP planters have no size limit.

Better Aesthetics : FRP medium allows for a variety of customised colours, natural look surface finishes & textures.

False bottom inside : Our taller planters can be ordered with an (optional) fixed-false bottom inside to neatly place a separate pot when used indoors.

Customisation : is possible even for small orders (of at least 10 planters of a type). No die/ model/ development charges

Our planters have a higher initial cost because :

FRP material is much more expensive than plastic & FRP planters are handmade, plastic planters are machine made.

But FRP planters are still the preferred choice over plastic (forget terracotta, cement & stone planters) because of better aesthetics, much longer lifespan, customisation possibilities & because larger planters are possible & practical only in FRP.

FRP planters are hand-crafted & should be considered as products of sustainable practices when we take a holistic view of the small carbon footprint of the manufacturing process, the long service life of the planters & overall environmental impact. They may not be bio-degradable but they provide a solution

FRP planters retain moisture better hence need less water. Not to mention that the convenience of minimal maintenance & a very long service life may encourage more people to gardening bigger plants & more greenery.

Avantika's Garden offers a Five year warranty on all our planters, covering any manufacturing defects except paint fade & surface scratches.

Manufacturing defects such as leakage, de lamination of joints, any surface defects, warping etc. are covered.

All planters are always in stock with us. Only final paint or texture is done as per order received. It takes 2-3 days to ship out from our factory in NOIDA. Local orders are sent through Porter app. VRL Logistics delivers outstation locations & transit time is between 4-10 days for door delivery, depending on your location. We, instead offer a genuine exchange, provided you send & collect (by self/ courier) the un-used planter with all packaging intact & we will exchange it, ex-factory. For more details, kindly see our 'Return Policy'

FRP material in itself is very strong & un-breakable. We wrap the planter in bubble sheet & shrink wrap it also. Then we wrap the planter in 8 mm thick EP foam & place it in a sturdy corrugated box. Lastly, we secure the carton with plastic straps fastened with steel clips.

We spray-paint with branded matte MRF/ Sirca outdoor grade PU paints which have a life of 3-4 years in direct sunlight, & significantly more lifespan in shade & indoors.

Tip : Choose lighter shades for areas with direct sunlight. Shades such as concrete, beige, white, off-white, light grey etc. do not show fade easily.

Yes, you can re-paint. We spray-paint matte MRF/ Sirca PU paints which have a life of 3-4 years in direct sunlight, significantly more lifespan in shade & indoors.

You can use enamel paints (satin/ matte variants) for indoors. Best to use outdoor grade paints.

We currently are not offering Cash On Delivery (COD) option. However, we plan to offer that in the future.

Size : Yes, we offer customised planters according to your drawing & dimensions. Minimum 10 pieces of a type are required to avoid development & die costs. Some Box planter sizes may be customised even for one piece only, kindly contact at 9818189654 for your requirements.

Colour : can be customised as per colour code provided by you.

Yes, absolutely, you may cancel your order within up to 24 hours after placing it & we will refund your full payment to the UPI QR code provided by you.

Orders already shipped or cancellation requests received after 24 hours of placing order cannot be cancelled.
